Pros: - location (in the heart of the city and within walkable distance to the most sightseeings)- the staff (friendly and helpful, you can always enjoy their hospitality)Cons:- the room itself (at least the one we were in, was very, very small and was missing some key furniture like any type of table and chairs)- no windows (as much as i appreciate the lack of sense of time inside the room, missing windows felt like being guest in a dungeon)- weird lights (as strange as it is, there are several light sources inside the room, non of which is a conventional one. Couple that with a bunch of switches scattered around the tiny room felt like infuriating puzzle to solve)Overall you are paying mostly for location. Average at best.
Stayed here for 1 night, was pleasantly surprised with room considering it's a budget hotel. Got a room with a window at a very reasonable price of 31.00. It had en-suite shower room a comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful so could not ask for more. Free wi-fi for 20 minutes, then you have to pay. T.V. in room which also required payment to use for a small fee, can't argue with that due to the low cost of the room. Didn't have breakfast but made use of coffee machine in reception. Location was great as it is situated in middle of city centre, cavern club 3 minutes walk. Overall a great place to stay on a budget, would recommend booking in advance to get a better rate.
What a great staff. The lady who checked us in attended us so well during our stay! Nice clean rooms, perfect location in the city centre close to Albert dock and cook st. We brought our dog with us and we did not have any trouble. I highly recommend this affordable hotel.
Best customer service. Was able to readjust my booking after a booking error. Only flaw is the phone number provided doesn't seem to work. Email is best method of contact. This place overall is a really nice budget hotel. But just know that the rooms are a bit tiny, just learn to work around small spaces, amenities do cost extra. But if you're here to get a decent night sleep well that is no problem. It was actually really nice not having a window for once, I don't get the sun screaming at my face at 5/6 am in the morning which allows me to sleep in a few extra hours. Not sure if all rooms are the same but there is a small space under my bed to store a bag or 2.Would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel on a budget. Super comfy bed. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Stylish interior decor. I stayed over for a concert, location was ideal, right around the corner from L1 and only a 15 minute walk or so to the Echo Arena. Would stay again.
