I'm surprised that they still on the market. They cheated me as well. You pay the money then come to take a car from them and they tell U weird requirements and look for problems where there's no problems and it's all just to keep the money without renting any car. Hope one day Easirent will loose permission to run their business.
Avoid. Never Again!!! This company sting you for extra costs by tripping you up with unique requirements you don't get with any other car rental company. Scam. Con. They wanted proof of address and because I didnt bring originals (I had pdf copies on my mobile) they said I couldnt have the car and would loose everything I paid unless I paid an extra 110 for their insurance. Nowhere did they say the proof of address has to be original. They said they need proof of address so they dont get left to pay speeding fines if I get caught when I have there car. This is total rubbish. They woudlnt have to pay any speeding fines. They are ripping customers off.
Insurance costs are rediculous! 539 to reduce excess to 150. Car was well beaten up when I picked it up but they had no others in. Im also convinced the man who checked the car over at the end of the rental period scratched the car himself and then charged me 260 to put it right because I didnt take extra insurance out! His colleague kept me talking during this with small talk. Ive been scammed, never again.
A company designed to rip you off.They don't accept Business Credit Cards, even though this wasn't mentioned in the terms and conditions. Besides this they wanted a GBP 1500 deposit. The highest ever that I've heard of. The insurance would cost 5 times the rental price.Avoid them when possible!
