An absolute revelation - particularly for the very early pre-fame period in Liverpool and Hamburg. For me, as a fan, it feels like a much more intimate and less commercialised experience than The Beatles Story on the Albert Dock.Highlights were the close proximity to the Casbah piano as played by McCartney, George's original guitar as played around Liverpool and Hamburg and in SO many of those early photos, and Pete's famous Premier drum kit beautifully preserved. Plus loads of cool little original artefacts from those early days including many original Beatles possessions.Obviously a painstaking labour of love to assemble and an absolute MUST for the real Beatles fan in imo. So glad this museum has opened and really hope more and more people take the time to visit. Fantastic!!!

Some great memorabilia and curios. Well worth a visit.

Very cool attraction, well designed and you will come out of it knowing more about the Beatles themselves rather than just their music history. Definitely recommend it.

I was visiting this museum with six friends from The Netherlands during the Beatles Week and we were all very much impressed by the authentic items that are displayed on the three floors. This museum gives, more than Beatles Story, an inside view on the early days of the band, especially the Hamburg and Liverpool period. Not only the original instruments and memorabilia but also the personal letters that are displayed make this museum a must for every Beatles fan visiting Liverpool!

Wonderful museum, authentic items that were laiyed out chronologically and flowed perfectly. A great complement to our Beatles themed visit to Liverpool. As one might expect, the artifacts related to the early history of the band is the greatest asset and what makes this museum stand out. Great for the Beatles fan who wants to delve a little deeper into the full history of the band. Items from The Best family and the Aspinall estate form the core of the items on display. The museum also had a kind, friendly and very helpful staff. We are glad that we visited and made it worth the trip from Canada!.
