Excellent history of music through the ages and a great place to spend a good couple of hours. Enjoyed the shows on the main stage and also the interactive bits at the end.Staff were great at explaining what to see and do.We would definitely put this in the must see bracket for anyone visiting Liverpool.
Yet another place you need to visit if travelling to Liverpool. Ok so it was 14 to get in so not the cheapest but no more expensive than any other tourist attraction places in the UK. There is plenty to see and do and I loved being able to try out the guitar drums and keyboard I thought I was a rock star. Interactive buttons are available giving out plenty of facts and information. Try out the singing and dancing booths for a good laugh.Exhibitions are very well presented with music from World War 2 to present day.Staff are friendly and the cafe offers reasonably priced food and drink for sale.Toilets were clean.Highly recommended to family and friends so don't let the entrance fee put you off as there is plenty to see and do. Well worth the 5* in my opinion.
This place is a must for every music lover. It tells the story of British music from WW2 until today and every decade has plenty of memorabilia in display. All the great bands and singers are captured inside. As a fantastic bonus you can try to play real music instruments at the last part of the venue. Keyboards, drums, bass, guitars. All is there waiting for you to come and play.
Visited to see the Bands FC free exhibition. We were greeted as we went in and directed perfectly. Fabulous service in the shop including finding the last available Bowie badge for me. The discount with Q park is a nice bonus
If you are a music fan this is fabulous, from the 50's right through to now there are so many classic exhibits and a lot of interactive elements you'll be there for ours. As a huge Charlatans fan and was impressed with the band's artefacts inside. The on stage hologram of Tim Burgess was amusing.Big shout to the staff who were really helpful and friendly.
