My boyfriend feel's worse after visiting this practice than before he went in, Dr Eccles has no bedside Manner's
I HAD BEEN A PATIENT AT THIS PRACTICE FOR LESS THAN ONE YEAR, AFTER BEING REFERRED SEVERAL TIMES TO A CONSULTANT, DR DODDR.. TOLD ME I HAD BEEN FULLY INVESTIGATED & NO MORE TESTS WE'RE AVAILABLE BECAUSE HE HAD GONE ON WHAT THE CONSULTANT HAD SAID, THIS SENT ME GOING OVER THE EDGE, BECAUSE I WAS ADAMANT WHAT I WAS EXPERIENCING WAS MEDICAL, I GOT SECTIONED & WAS IN WINDSOR HOUSE UPPER PARLIAMENT L8, KULLU THE PSYCHIATRIST BELIEVED THE GP AS MERSEYCARE DON'T GO ON GUT FEELING.10 MONTH'S LATER I HAD CALLED MY GP & ASKED FOR A HOUSE VISIT BECAUSE I WAS VERY SICK, I WAS OF AN OPINION THAT I WAS GETTING A VISIT AS THAT'S WHAT I WAS TOLD, INSTEAD WHEN I CALLED THEM BACK THE SYMPTOMS I GAVE APPARENTLY WE'RE NOT URGENT, I WAS ADMITTED INTO THE ROYAL FOR ONE MONTH THAT EVENING, DR ECCLES HAD TOLD THE HOSPITAL "IT WAS NOT URGENT" IT IS ON MY NOTES, ALSO AS FOR BEING FULLY INVESTIGATED, A TEST WAS MISSED AS I WAS ADAMANT IT WAS MEDICAL, TO WHICH NOW I'VE ENDED UP WITH CHRONIC CONDITIONS THROUGH THEIR LACK OF EMPATHY, LAST NOVEMBER I HAD VISITED DR ECCLES & HE TOLD ME TO MY FACE THAT HE THOUGHT I WAS "MENTALLY ILL" THAT'S HIS EXCUSE FOR HIM IGNORING ALL MY LETTERS TO HIM REGARDING MY BOWEL, ABSOLUTELY NO CARE WHATSOEVER, HOWEVER, THE LADY AT RECEPTION WITH THE BLONDE HAIR WAS ALWAYS VERY NICE :) BOBBED HAIR.I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE THIS ANY STARS BUT HAD TO GIVE IT AT LEAST ONE. DR ECCLES HAD NO EMPATHY WE'RE I WAS CONCERNED AS HE MADE JUDGMENT BEFORE HE HAD EVEN MET ME BECAUSE OF WHAT WAS WRITTEN BY KULLU OF MERSEYCARE TO SAY "I HAD BEEN FULLY INVESTIGATED" TO WHICH I HADN'T, THANKS TO MR GUR WHO GAVE ME THE MISSED TEST OF THE TRANSIT STUDY OF THE BOWEL TO WHICH IN YEARS THIS TEST WAS MISSED OUT & BECAUSE OF THIS I SUFFERED MANY YEARS OF EXCRUCIATING ABDOMINAL PAIN, YOU CAN HAVE ALL STANDARD TESTS i.e CT MRI ULTRASOUND BUT I NEEDED A STUDY TEST OF THE BOWEL WHICH IS DONE OVER ONE WEEK. MAYBE IF I HAD MET RICHARD HE MAY HAVE BEEN UNDERSTANDING.
If you send a poor review in you dont get a thank you for taking the time for the review. You get a letter saying you have 28 days to find another GP. Not a letter trying to resolve any issues you may have. I am disgusted with the way this has been handled by the Partners.
Again I have found the practise and particularly the reception manager dyfuntional . I tried to report and query my GP. Dr DE ,who prescribed me 750mg/200u of calcium and vitD supplements for her recent diagnosis of Osteopenia. (Low bone possible future risk of weakened bones but not osteoporosis). This is double the recommended dose according to every internet and text book I have since read. Also high blood-calcium can be a sign of cancer and can make you really unwell . So would It have looked like I had cancer if I had taken them?? Or have I already got cancer and she wants to make it more obvious? to help me get diagnosed?The mind boggles!Does it saturate your body if your kidneys dont cope excreting it all and buildup in joints and kidneys and other organs etc also if your body cant cope with it you can go into a coma and die. What were the doctors intentions?? To stop me being well during the summer?as all my results where ok? To give me kidney stones and arthritis or more joint pain problems?? and give me lots of pain . Im not best pleased I must admit.Furthermore Reception manager didnt let me speak to Practise manager . Pharmacist next door just said he has seen that dose prescribed before and I said to him that he should be a second check for the surgery. He wasnt able to give advice if dose was safe either.Casualty RLH said according to their toxicology. They would do nothing even if I had taken full bottle!! I didnt believe them though as from what I had read I assumed I would have been very ill if I had done that. I did take 4 tablets though a couple of times as prescribed and felt dehydrated and unwell but did not know at the time about the dose being so high .. Cas doctor also without even checking the bottle just said the dose is appropriate ,but not what for.He also said go back to my gp.For whats the dose appropriate for then? So Im back there in a few months time with acute pain of renal stones or something worse !! Went back to Gp who also said my blood calcium wasnt low. She did offer to reduce dose on computer for me though . I am really disappointed with the surgery and the pharmacy . I told my GP I have increased my calcium in my diet too. Gps are not checked on enough!!I hope the 1 star is justified as it extends to the pharmacy . The cas dept didnt keep me waiting long , did give me advice but I was shocked at their attitude - that doctors dont make mistakes and the dose wasnt checked or queried .
Good medical centre. Parking is an issue. Did prefer the older building down the road and set up they had including parking.
