Absolutely brilliant! Gorgeous venue (Water Street) Deicious food which is as good as they say it is. Fast service and very helpful staff. Chat bombs are a unique burst of flavour, the tamarind fries are truly tasty and the house curry too. Will be returning again for sure.
I would love to have given this place 5 stars but being hassled out of our seats 25 minutes before the time we'd been given especially as we'd told them this was a birthday meal for my 84 year old mother doesn't incline me to be so generous. Table booked for 7 and told the table would be needed again at 8.30.Food was delicious as usual. Service was brisk. Table was cleared promptly but while we were still drinking our wine at just after 8 we were asked to vacate the table because it was needed. We drank our wine we were presented with the bill without asking for it and again asked to vacate the table. We were out of the place by 8.10. Not good. How long does it take to prepare a table??? It was bare when we arrived so not as if it needed laying. Not a good end to a lovely birthday meal.
Unbelievable food, like nothing you've tasted before!!Service was also fantastic, having to deal with a table of 16 which is never easy.100% recommended this place for any budding food enthusiasts and those wanting a different brand of food than you've likely tasted before.

The food was amazing and the decor was so lovely. The staff where very polite but maybe a little too keen at times as they nearly took food away when weren't finished with and why my colleague was still actually eating with fork in hand. I would highly recommend Mowgli and would visit again.
