All staff very helpful. Quick to be seen ( although would have happily waited). Courteous and very competent consultant (ENT ). Very grateful for their care
Arrived at spire to bring my partner along to her consultation to be greated with a que with only two staff to see to everybody staff were being interrupted mid conversation with patients by numerous other members of staff/nurses reception staff being spoke to very disrespectfully by other patients who seemed to be angry due to waiting times not the best first impression of a private hospital very unorganised reception area my partner had questions regarding a treatment displayed in reception no privacy whatsoever at the front reception area .. cold toilets with a bad smell and not enough seats for the amount of people in waiting area overall disappointing first impression of a private hospital (glad my partner wasnt a paying patient as would of been even more unhappy) more staff needed more seats and a toilet refurb
I and my Patner are disgusted in the way the reception performed what is a simple request for a further 6 months referral date, on completing my interview with my consultant and mutually agreeing on a further consultation in six months I aproched the front desk, what a joke,, the receptionist was in conversation with a member of staff that was somewhat in a bit of a tizzy! After a period I gave the necessary paperwork to the rectionist, there was no eyeball contact , no effort of a one to one communication ,, in fact I am a male and she turned and breafly looked at my partner and said what six months ,, my partner is female , she spent some time , and then passed the paperwork to me , again no eyeball contact , no smile , no acknowledging That i even existed , I have just retired as a company director and I can assure that any member of my staff would receive serious disciplining and couciling , I am seriously perturbed to continue with the spire ,, the date of this was 20/11/2018 3,20 pm my name is Charles Neild
The Spire is terrible. My partner had an operation 4 months ago and has not been spoken to by anybody since the op. She has had 3 appointments cancelled so far. She has not spoken to anyone processional since the operation and we know from reading the operation notes that they did discover something. How can they keep cancelling the appointments.Up until a text an hour ago she thought she was going tomorrow. Now the appointment is in another weeks time. The operation was 4 months ago and the follow up appointment booked in for the start of January. IT'S NOW APRIL!!!!!!!!It is because we are coming through the NHS and the staff clearly don't care about you unless you pay them for private healthcare. DO NOT GO HERE!
It's now just over 2 years down the line since my total knee replacement,so time to give my review ! The procedure was performed by Mr Jameson and I cannot fault his skill and post_operative manner. The same is also true for those who were responsible for my rehabilitation,from the nurses, physiotherapists all the way to the hospital support staff. They all made it as pleasant as it is possible to make major surgery ! I now cycle,swim,spin,play tennis and take 'Harvey' on long walks every day. Well done all of you and thank you.
