Having taken our vehicle in for it's MOT and other work, we will DEFINITELY NOT be going back to this dealership.I had to ask 3 TIMES if a job was covered on the warranty we were sold as part of the purchase of the car when we bought it at R&D Birmingham. I was told twice it wasn't covered, even though there were no exclusions on the warranty, on the third time of asking, it was discovered actually it WAS covered. The 'Customer Service' was poor, being told over the phone in a stroppy manner, "Do you want me to fail your MOT then?" when I asked why I was going to be charged 35.64p to swap a tyre around on it's wheel for such a simple job. She accused me of shouting at her, I was on a roadside with busy traffic and couldn't hear myself speak never mind if I could be heard. I told her I wanted to speak to her manager when I arrived back at the dealership. On returning, I was greeted by a supervisor, apparently, the manager was busy! The supervisor was actually the most helpful. He informed us the outstanding job was covered and that the car would be MOT'd, however, it wouldn't be ready that day and could we leave it with them. We live in N. Wales so that would be impossible unless we had a courtesy vehicle. He duly obliged and found us a car. The next day, I called at 2pm to find out what was happening and was told by someone different in 'customer service' that I should wait for a phone call from them. As I told them again, I live over an hour away and there wouldn't be any use phoning too late as it was possible I wasn't going to be able to get to the dealership before closing, I was told that I'd better make my way over then. When I got to the dealership, I was given my car back and as it was dark, I couldn't inspect the vehicle. In daylight, I have found that oily fingerprints and marks on the front of the car. Not acceptable and certainly not what you would expect from the retail outlet of the manufacturer, PSA group. This isn't the first bad experience I've had at this dealership, my other car has been back and forth here for 18 months and they've never been able to sort out the problem with it. I do not recommend this dealership at all.
Great staff in the used car dept, relaxed attitude but still professional. You go in as a customer, but leave as firm friends to trust . You get the reassurance of the experienced staff , I certainly recommend anybody looking for a good deal to change your car get along and see them . George Johnson
