I've been using this vets practice for many years for my cats, and really can't recommend it enough - all the staff are unfailingly kind, helpful and welcoming, and we've always received sterling treatment there. The reception and waiting area are warm, comfortable and calm, and the vets are always gentle, thoughtful and hugely knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.
We always have a really good experience with this practice. It is very obvious how much the staff care for the animals as if they were their own. We have recently changed practice after being with the previous vets for 6 years - best move we ever made. Vets and nurses are always so informative, reassuring and give Heidi lots of fuss to help her relax. Receptionists are always happy to help try and fit in any appointments - even if they are last minute. All in all an excellent place to have your fur babies under and worth every penny to ensure my animals are kept healthy and happy.
I took our very nervous dog here, getting a same day appointment. The waiting area was large and we were ushered into a spare room as our dog had suspected kennel cough. The vet we saw was lovely, gave us lots of information about diet, treatment etc. My friend recommended this vet to me and I will have no hesitation recommending also. When it was time to leave, our dog didn't want to go!
Love this vet practice! The staff are always very welcoming and kind. Our cat is always doing himself a mischief and he's had to be admitted a few times. Every time they are always highly professional and caring with their approach. Yuki decided that he wanted to venture behind the sink today, Harry the vet was really professional and tried his best to coax him out, ended up having to take the back off the cupboard. And I love the fact that they have introduced a cat only waiting area! They are very gentle with their handling of cats, and you really do feel the sense of adoration for the animals. Absolute credit to the university.
I have used this practice for four years and taken both my cats here. It has always been quick to get an appointment and the staff are friendly and have been caring to the cats. However, I am about to try a different practice because I have had some less-than-great experiences here. To put things into context, I am a doctor and have some knowledge of healthcare. My older cat got sick and the vets wanted to put her down. She suffered a lot during the procedure and died in distress on the vet's table. I could have done it better myself if I had access to the necessary drugs. Then I brought my other cat to them with a broken toe. They didn't seem to know how to deal with it and it has healed in the wrong position. Another time they recommended an expensive vaccination, and as they were sticking the needle in they said he probably didn't need it. I know from experience that nowhere is perfect but I think it is time to try somewhere else.
