The best take away place in Liverpool!!Staff are so kind, respectfully and always there too help if wanting to know about their menu!!Food is amazing!! Always happy with what I order from here, size off the meals are definitely worth the money, the best food around!!Only thing iam disappointed in is the times.I tried to ordered before 12 but there was no answer so I drove to the place only to find out it was shut, gutted!!! I then had too go elsewhere on the same road and was so disappointed in the staff, food and serves! If only you was open for me to not have to experience what I did!!I just want too say keep up the good work chung lok your doing the best in your area.
Usually I order a Box meal for one which comes with egg fried rice and main course that I have found quite tasty. However tonight I ordered Chicken Chowmein. Big mistake. Originally I was impressed with the listed ingredients when I called to order but upon being delivered the taste of the meal was not good. It was very salty, yet missing soy sauce flavour, and overly watery. It was as if the noodles, chicken, and vegetables were dunked in a hot salt water bath to warm them up and then thrown together in the box along with some cornstarch paste on top at the end which wasnt mixed in properly. So sadly the Chicken Chowmein wasnt really edible. The only plus tonight was quick delivery. Ill have to rethink about ordering from Chung Lok again.
I personally believe this is an excellent Chinese take away restaurant, I have used Chung Lok's for a few years now and love the food and the service. I recommend the shredded salt and pepper chicken, if you like it a bit more spicy ask for a pot of chilli oil to spice things up.
Absoultly horrible ordered 2 portions s&p chicken rock hard and hardly any chicken unstable and sweet & sour chicken again batter rock hard and chicken I couldn't even chew never again will I order from there most of the food still in box
This is a great little restaurant & take away, really is worth a visit. The food is beautiful, freshly prepared & plenty of it. The mini banquet is such good value! The staff are great they leave you alone unless you need them. I cannot fault this place. We have been coming here for around 20 years off & on
