Been 3 times for Christmas lunch. - lovely staff and food good on first two visits - its cooking not cheffing - today - dire - whoever was responsible cannot cook and has forgotten to try the stuff before service. - maybe we got here on bad day ? Well dear reader you will decide. - -

Beautiful building with a wonderful library room at the top.
We had a works evening meal here. The food was second to none and the service was friendly and sufficient.The surroundings where brilliant and found some wonderful picture points especially in the old library.I love character in buildings and this was deffinately a building full of character.Thanks to the venue and staff. Although the gentleman on the front desk could... Smile and be slightly more welcoming.
