Scandalous prices for just wanting to use the gym. I'd advise anyone to go elsewhere
Serious stabbing took place last week in mens changing rooms ( in the neck) Reported in Liverpool Echo. Not safe ! After 13 years of being a member, I visited numerous times in May to be told no staff were trained to supervise pool so no teenagers no access allowed to outdoor pool. It was hottest day of the year and this is what I pay my membership for - to share leisure time with my teen children after working a 12 hour day. I cancelled my direct debit after the 4th similar incident. Once they have your contract signed thats it - no negotiation to end prematurely even though the reasons above I have stated for wanting to leave are serious and illustrate that the considerable expense of the membership is not value for money. I would not let my boys into those changing rooms for any reason at all. I have been advised by the club that they reserve the right to with withdraw services such as a lifeguard at any time without notice. Thats not worth the fee in My estimation. Having paid a family membership for 13 years I feel it fair and equitable that a compromise agreement be agreed to terminate my membership 3 months early following a lack of staffing my dissatisfaction with standards. What is the point of being a member? Unfortunately David Loyd do not share the same views in customer services and should review this aspect of their offering.
one of the best DL's.. my local one is Basildon, which I'd normally rate really highly, but recently their customer service has gone downhill. Speke has an excellent gym area, loads of natural light. great pools. food was done well when I ordered. can't fault it
Been a member for a few years..but its getting busier with children running round out of control with no parents discipline!! Car parking can be a problem as everyone without children park in childrens spaces and dont feel guilty when they see parents with little ones trying to find a safe parking space..
Love it. Just joined after years of home workouts. Very friendly staff and motivational instructors. Fabulous variety of classes. Outdoor pool is wonderful. Worth the money in my opinion
