One of the greatest buildings in the world.A visit to the Anglican cathedral always makes me feel better spiritually, and I'm an atheist!An excellent shop and a really amazing restaurant.Climb the tower and enjoy the incredible views.The 'staff' here are always friendly and welcoming!
Beautiful cathedral, suggested donation clearly goes towards keeping this incredible building going.The use of the site as both a place of worship and a venue for local art is great, the knife angel being on display when I visited.The cafe could do with some work, there are so many great independent roasters and coffee shops in Liverpool, would be great to see this independent entrepreneurial spirit encourage by the church. Would visit again.
A MUST SEE.It is spectacular and so interesting. Our 8 year old twins and ourselves spent two hours here and still didnt see everything.There is an animal hunt for the kids which incorporates such interesting parts of the Cathedral. We had a wonderful guide ( no charge) who was informative but not overwhelming, lovely chap. We are definitely going to return soon.
Beautiful cathedral. Welcome to anyone just walk in no cost. Donations accepted and not pressured. Staff are plenty, pleasant and helpful. There are a few religious art exhibition pieces. The small chapel rooms/prayer rooms are worth visiting very quaint and tucked away in the sides. For some fun for children ask the staff to show you the whispering arch sure to be a surprise for kids and adults alike.
Unassuming at first sight but surprisingly beautiful building inside! I really recommend it as a place to visit on a day out. Entrance is free so the cathedral suggests a 5.00 contribution to help meet maintenance costs.
