Never any different, always friendly service and great coffee. Also the sourdough toast with preserve is fab! Favourite coffee house in town.
One of the comfiest places in town. Perfect for people looking to have a meeting, students, etc. Coffees are very good as well. Must go if you live in Liverpool
The location is incorrectly given in Google maps as Hanover Street, it is actually in Seel Street. The name sign for the Cafe is extremely discreet and placed well above sight-line. After looking for it for half an hour I eventually found it and my friend who was waiting for me.The venue is quite light and airy, furnished in light contemporary furniture. It offers a good range of Coffee and pastries at acceptable prices. Now that I know where it is, I will return.
Hidden just off Hanover Street, Root is one of the best independent coffee shops in Liverpool. Very few places in the city know how to make a perfect latte, but the staff here know how to hit the spot with their offerings. My wife loves hot chocolate, which again is difficult to find somewhere that makes a decent one, but Root's version is simply beautiful and we don't mind making the trip across town just to sit down and relax in comfortable surroundings. Worth noting, the baby changing facilities in the toilets are spacious as well.
Nice coffee, good job on the staff like Rosa who helped us choosing. Love the peace you breath in this place! Will come back for more coffee! And to try the bagels they say they are amazing
