This a proper cafe like I remember from my childhood, it's so different from the soulless chains. Brilliant value for money, big hearty meals, generous portions. And lovely , friendly staff.
The food served here is really very good home cooked food. The staff are very friendly. When ever I vist Liverpool i always take the chance to eat in this cafe as my first choice. If you get the chance to sample the chicken and veg soup you are in for a real treat it really is as good as my mum use to make and that is high praise indeed.

It's the best cafe in Liverpool city centre by far. The staff are great and take good care of the customers. The food is very nice and great value. It's a very cosy place ran by down to earth people that make everybody feel welcome.
