Beautiful park with loads of places for kids and dogs. Great running track around the park. The lake is full of ducks and swans plus many cute squirrels.
Very nice walk around Sefton Park. Good facilities and a place to get a hot drink. Enjoyed the glass house with the palm trees. I would visit again.
A magnificent 235 acre Grade 1 historic park. So much to see including the Eros fountain, the Palm House and lakeside views. Those could be seen on the 3Km #liverpoolwinterwalk that we did today. We did pop into the "Boathouse Kiosk", a small glass-fronted building by the lake, which serves a selection of coffees, ice creams and other small snacks, to warm our hands on a hot drink. Yes it was cold. It is well worth a visit and there's much more to see and do than I mentioned.
Sefton Park it's one of the most relevant parks of Liverpool. Lots of amazing spaces to walk, ride bike, sports, loads of sceneries for the photograph lovers. Old trees, lakes, fishing, beautiful Victorian houses surrounding all the park. During the year different activities take place here like fairs, music festivals. Precious.
I used to live by Sefton Park in the 70's and 80's and spent most of my life exploring and playing there. After years of decline in the 90's and 00's it is gradually getting back to how I remember it. Fantastic place to spend a couple of hours.
